Los Angeles Narrative

Looking back to the event, it was amazing and just a dream come true. The  view from downtown is visible from where I stand. You can smell the hot dogs from the lady around the corner. Skating by downtown feels great. You can feel the breeze hit your face and the feeling you get whenever someone is looking at you while you are doing a trick or just standing there minding your own business. The touch of my board is rough from the top, because of the griptape, I can feel this feeling whenever I pick up my board. The texture from my board is also soft and smooth from it's bottom, where the graphic is located at.

Making my way to Carl's Jr makes me more hungry. Popping my board from the ground and hearing it echo throughout the streets feels great. I for once felt like I could do anything. When I open the doors from Carl's I felt a slide breeze hitting my face and my friends, too. You can smell the burgers being made and also you can heard them make them. The smell hit us like a cartoon movie... It was like if a hand in the air made by the smell was telling us to come in and eat there. We were so hungry and we couldn't wait to get our food served. We ordered and the longer we waited for our food the more hunger we got.

While we were eating, I had caught someone from the corner of my eye and looked over. My friends and I were looking at the same person. Across the street a guy was guiding lots of people with cameras and much more equipment. As we saw them go inside where we skate, we got curious and wanted to see what was occurring so we ate fast and as soon as everyone was done eating we all went at the same time and we left right away. After arriving to the spot, we found them. They were setting up there equipment and other stuff. We skated there for awhile. An hour had past and the guy who we had seen guiding the people was walking towards us. He came over to us and told us,
"Can you guys do tricks off that drop over there?" While he said that he was point at the spot he wanted us to do tricks off. We all said yes, of course. While walking to the drop he had told us we could be on a music video and even get sponsor by them. I felt tired and the wind wasn't blowing anymore.

As soon as I had popped into the 6-stair drop. I had felt the impact and my knees bending while I land my trick off the drop. Rolling away from my trick I had done, felt good because it's a feeling you can't express. After doing all the tricks off the drop, that were meant for the music video. We were very tired and I had felt the sweat running through my face and the cold breeze hitting every single part of my body. The place where I was sitting at was very quite. Then some of my friends came over.
